If you are still unsure about your meter type, make your selection 'Peak' as this is the most common household meter. See below for help identifying your meter type.
There are generally 3 types of meters
'peak' This where you are NOT charged an off peak rate (you may still find you have two rates if there is a 'peak step' which could look something like this-

'peak/off peak' (sometimes called controlled load or dedicated off peak.)
This is where you are charged a peak rate for your day time use and an off peak rate overnight when energy is cheaper. Most common when your hot water heats up overnight and often a pool pump or underfloor slab heating. If you are on this type of meter you may find the following codes on your bill

'Time of Use' (sometimes called Smart Meter, Winner or Type 5).
This is where you are charged a different rate for when and how you use your electricity, eg. You may have one rate between 7am and 11pm and another rate other times. If you are on this type of meter you may find the following codes on your bill
